The number of 4 ft table rentals you need depends on how you are using them at your party. Below are common uses of these types of tables.
Back Bar – We recommend one 4 ft table for each beverage service staff as a back bar. A party cooler rental will fit under each 4 ft table allowing easy access to additional ice and beverages. You can also place additional bar glassware, dispensers, chilling tubs, and other supplies on top of the table.
Self Serve Beverage Station With Dispensers – If you are doing a self serve station using beverage dispenser rentals, we recommend one table for every two beverage dispensers. This allows room for additional items such as cups, straws, stir sticks, milk, cream, sugar, and additional toppings or garnishes.
Self Serve Beverage Station With Beverage Tubs – The number of small table rentals we would recommend depends on the type of the beverage tub rentals from us you select. If you are selecting a white beverage tub then you can fit a maximum 2 per table. If you are renting a full size beverage tub then you can fit a maximum 4 per table.
Self Serve Food Station – This one is more difficult to plan for as it requires measurement of the size of the food items you are planning to place on the table. The surface area of each table is 48” x 30”, so we recommend planning your tabletop food station with these dimensions in mind.
Once you choose your perfect table setup, check out our party rental options. We have chairs, glassware, bars, beverage dispensers, and all the essentials for your event! Attendees will appreciate the thoughtful details you’ve included in the planning.
When setting up your self-serve food station, consider the flow of traffic. You want to ensure that guests can easily access the food without creating bottlenecks. Arrange the items in a logical order, starting with plates and utensils, followed by salads, main dishes, and finally desserts. This way, guests can move smoothly from one end of the table to the other.
Additionally, think about labeling each food item clearly. Use attractive signs to indicate what each dish is, especially if there are any common allergens. This not only helps guests make informed choices but also adds a nice touch to your setup.
Don’t forget about the presentation! For example, you can use decorative trays and fresh flowers to enhance the visual appeal of your food station. A well-decorated table can make a big difference in the overall atmosphere of your event.
Finally, consider having a designated area for your drink station. If you’re using a beverage tub, make sure it’s easily accessible and filled with ice to keep drinks cold. Self serve drink stations are great for serving non-alcoholic options!
With careful planning and attention to detail, your self-serve food and drink station will be a hit at your event, allowing guests to enjoy a delicious meal in a relaxed and inviting setting. Happy planning!
