When you drink coffee from a chain like Tim Hortons or Starbucks there is a range of coffee size options. For example the smallest cup size Tim Hortons offers is an 8 oz cup and the largest cup size is 20 oz. For coffee break catering we offer one size for each beverage type.
For espresso we follow the preparation standards from the Istituto Nazionale Espresso Italiano with a serving size of 25 ml ยฑ 2,5 (1 oz).
For cappuccino we follow the preparation standards from the Istituto Nazionale Espresso Italiano. A cappuccino starts with 25 ml ยฑ 2,5 of espresso. Then 100 ml of steam-foamed milk is made to achieve a volume of approximately 125 ml. The steam-foamed milk is then added to the espresso which results in a total volume of 150 ml to 160 ml total capacity (5 to 5.5 oz).
For brewed coffee we follow the size standards from the Speciality Coffee Association of America (SCAA). The SCAA defines a 6-oz (180 ml) cup as the proper measure for brewed coffee.
For iced coffee the serving sizes are the same, however the cup size is larger to accommodate for the volume of ice required to chill the beverage.

Cold brew coffee has gained popularity among coffee drinkers in recent years. Instead of using hot water to extract the flavour from coffee beans, cold brew coffee is made from ground beans that have been steeped in cold water for 16 hours.
One of the biggest differences between regular cold brew coffee and nitro cold brew is the texture. Nitro brew coffee is infused with nitrogen gas through a pressurized valve. The gas gives the coffee a beautiful, silky thickness. Because itโs cold brewed, nitro coffee gives you a frothy, milky layer. The mouthfeel is often compared to beer, especially Guinness.
At this time we do not offer nitro cold brew coffee or cold brew coffee due to low market demand for events. If you are looking for a cold coffee option for your event check out our ice coffee option!
Coffee lovers that reach for their favorite morning brew probably arenโt thinking about its health benefits.
