In 1969, the owners of the Calgary Inn in Calgary, Alberta, asked their staff Walter Chell who ran their Owl’s Nest bar, to create a recipe to represent their new Italian restaurant in a contest. So Chell took some vodka, a bit of Worcestershire and a little Tabasco, added a mix of clam and tomato juices and dubbed it the “Bloody Caesar.” This drink became the national drink of Canada. We pay homage to this classic with our Caesar cocktail kit!

Description

The original Canadian gangster! This caesar offers a rich addition of flavours through the use of a premium Canadian vodka with peppery notes.

Ingredients

Phoenix Canadian Vodka, Clamato, Lemon Juice, Tabasco Sauce, and Worcestershire Sauce. Garnish with Caesar Rimmer, Olive, and Lemon Wheel.

Japanese Fusion Caesar

Description

This Japanese-Canadian fusion caesar offers some spicy wasabi horseradish and crisp citrus notes that will have you saying “Umai” once you taste it!

Ingredients

Nikka Coffey Vodka, Clamato, Lemon Juice, Wasabi, Soy Sauce. Garnish with Caesar Rimmer, Olive, and Lemon Wheel.

Nikka Coffee Vodka

This Japanese vodka is made of corn and barley that is separately distilled into various batches with slight differences in Alcohol By Volume (ABV) and taste profile. These batches are carefully blended by experts and then refined with white birch charcoal.

A still is an apparatus used to distill liquid mixtures by heating to selectively boil and then cooling to condense the vapor. This vodka is produced using continuous, column, or “Coffey” stills.

In A Pickle Caesar

Description

This Caesar offers some intense pickle and bready vodka notes.

Ingredients

Chopin Vodka, Clamato, Lime Juice, Pickle Brine, Tabasco Sauce, and Worcestershire Sauce. Garnish with Caesar Rimmer, Olive, and Lime Wheel.

Chopin Vodka

Chopin vodka is crafted from naturally grown potatoes by select local farmers in the fertile Podlasie countryside. Late harvested potatoes ensure a higher starch content and a richer, more flavorful spirit, and as many as seven pounds of potatoes are required per bottle, which are unpeeled, pressure-cooked and distilled four times, before being distilled with artesian well water and filtered five times.
