To maintain a silky smooth mouth feel a shaken cocktail requires a two stage straining process to eliminate small chips of ice, and any other tiny particles from ingredients such as muddled fruit and herbs. We include a stainless steel fine mesh strainer to eliminate these smaller particles.

Another benefit of the fine mesh strainer is that it helps to aerate the head of the cocktail more when used in combination with the hawthorne strainer.
