Our mixology classes are great if you are looking for a fun group or individual activity to build connection, spark creativity and conversation, and learn the basic knowledge and skills to make fantastic drinks in 1 to 2 hours. We look forward to providing you and your guests with an immersive, unique, and memorable mixology class.

Mixology 101 Classes

We have the best mixology classes to help you and your guests learn the fundamental skills and knowledge to create tasty, well balanced drinks. We provide hands on experience with the basic tools, ingredients, and techniques to make excellent drinks. Once you and your guests have mastered the basics of drink making at our mixology class, it will create a platform for your own creative experimentation to become a mixology pioneer.

Use Professional Equipment

Great quality equipment is a prerequisite for great quality drinks. We want you and your guests to know the science on how these tools and ingredients work together to help you create great quality beverages at our cocktail class. We look forward to geek out with you about which equipment to buy for home use. Whether looking to do a virtual cocktail making class or in person, we always provide the option to use the best equipment. 

Made-To-Order 

Our individual or group mixology classes are made-to-order allowing us to tailor the available modules and drinks to you and your guests interests, theme, budget, and any food served. Our mixology modules are structured around a base liquor used in that drink (e.g. gin, vodka, champagne, bourbon etc.). You have the option to do a one module, two module or three module class. This customization is available whether you are doing a virtual mixology class, or in person. Below is more information on the modules we offer.

  • Two (or optionally three) drinks selected by you from our mixology modules

  • Travel and delivery of supplies and equipment to and from your venue
  • Equipment including a professional mixology kit for each participant to use, various glassware, tables, stainless steel ice wells, and glass beverage dispenser to provide water for your guests during the class
  • All the non-liquor drink ingredients such as ice, syrups, bitters, mixes, fresh fruits and vegetables, soda, garnishes, and other specialty ingredients as required

What Is Your Mixology Class Pricing?

Our mixology class quotes are tailored to your requirements to ensure we include everything you want (and not add additional costs for things you do not want). 

 

To establish a baseline quote for your mixology class we will take into consideration:

  • Guest count
  • Number of mixology modules (2 or 3 modules)
  • Delivery addresses or travel distance to the venue

Do You Provide Liquor For The Drink Making Class?

Yes we provide the liquor for your mixology class. 

Do I Need A Liquor License For The Mixology Class?

For most mixology classes a liquor permit is not required because the class is usually an invite only event, and it’s held in a private place with no liquor sales. If a liquor permit is required, we will provide guidance on how to secure it. Below is some more information on liquor permits from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

 

The AGCO defines a private place and a private event as follows: 

  • A private event is where only invited guests will attend. These events cannot be advertised and there can be no intent to gain or profit from the sale of alcohol at the event.
  • A private place is an indoor area not usually open to the public, and not open to the public during the event (e.g. a residence, boardroom or private office).
