Citrus Fruits 

We offer often delectable citrus fruits as a pairing to your drink gift basket. One of the reasons is that citrus fruits such as oranges or lemons are used in many cocktails. 

You can add orange twist garnish to enhance the aroma of a Manhattan. Lemon twists also make for great garnishes as well for this drink.

Manhattan Kit Bitters 

When it comes to bitters, Angostura bitters are the industry standard bitters. These are easy to use, and you can’t really go wrong with them. 

Bitters, like, vermouth, are infused with proprietary herbs and spices. But you have to remember that bitters are concentrated, though. 

We suggest you don’t go overboard. Just add a couple of dashes for tons of complex flavor.

The most common bitters used in the classic Manhattan recipe are the Angostura aromatic bitters. The Angostura has more than 40 different herbs and botanics – the combination a closely guarded secret – but it has an iconic, easily identifiable flavor. If you need a slightly crisper flavor, try adding orange bitters. 

No matter what bitters you use, your drink will immediately get more spice, depth, and backbone.

Ice For Your Manhattan Mixing Kit

The Manhattan is a drink that’s served stirred, not shaken. While you can use regular ice, we always suggest that you use the kind of ice our own mixologists use. 

We use large ice cubes because these tend to melt slowly. Rapidly melting ice tends to dilute the drink and the flavour. Our Manhattan mixing kits offer optionally large cube ice trays to ensure your drink gift is delicious!
