Technically, the difference between the highball and the Collins glass is that the Collins glasses are slightly larger than the highball. 

The Collins is also more narrow with a chimney shape. Multi-purpose highball glasses are used for serving not just cocktails, but also mocktails.

Do you ship these drink gifts outside Ontario?

We ship our drink gifts, including liquor to cities, provinces, or countries not listed in the “Where do you ship or deliver” FAQ,  for an additional fee. We coordinate this through a local merchant. 

 

When you choose this, your drink gift would ship in two segments. You would receive the liquor from our partner merchant. The non-alcohol drink ingredients would be sent directly from 180 Drinks. Check with us if you would like to choose this option. 

I have ordered your Long Island Iced Tea gifts. When will my order be delivered or shipped?

Order by 5pm for next day delivery via our local couriers in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and select cities below in Ontario (See FAQ:  “Where do you ship or deliver to”).

 

For orders via courier, orders will be processed for delivery the next business day. The shipping time depends on the shipping method and carrier selected. 

 

Our subscription boxes are prepared for shipment or delivery by the first week of each month. We will send you an email with a tracking number for shipments sent via post. 

Can I pick up the gift?

Absolutely! You can pick up your gift for FREE from 9am to 8pm every day at our office. This is our address: 400 Matheson Blvd E, Unit 20, Mississauga ON L4Z 1N8.

Can you send my gifts on a specific date?

We can do that! When you order from us, you can select a preferred delivery date. We will then schedule your gift for the delivery or ship date desired. 

What does your cocktail gift set subscription include?

A subscription ensures that you make your giftee remember you each month. It’s the perfect gift that keeps giving. With a subscription, your giftee receives a new unique drink each month for a selected duration. You can purchase a cocktail gift set subscription with the following options:

The process is simple: Subscriptions of your cocktail gift set will ship directly. Your giftee will take their drink gift at the same time every month, and we email them to notify of its arrival!

What’s the best Long Island Iced Tea recipe?

There are many ways to make the Long Island Iced Tea cocktail. Here’s a classic recipe:

 

Ingredients: 

  • ½ fluid ounce vodka

  • ½ fluid ounce rum

  • ½ fluid ounce gin

  • ½ fluid ounce tequila

  • ½ fluid ounce triple sec (orange-flavored liqueur)

  • ½ fluid ounce of freshly pressed lemon juice

  • ½ fluid ounce of simple syrup

  • 1 fluid ounce cola to top, or to taste

  • 1 lemon slice to garnish

 

How to make:

 

Take a cocktail shaker and fill it with ice. Pour vodka, rum, gin, tequila, and triple sec over the ice. Transfer the cocktail to a Tom Collins glass. Add cola for the characteristic color. Garnish with a simple lemon slice. You can, of course, experiment with adding real black tea as well!
